The Planets Contributors’ SourceForge site provides a place where third-party developers can get involved in Planets and develop preservation services and workflows away from core services on the Planets Suite. This area allows developers to experiment with Planets code and share ideas.

Service Developers’ Guidelines
These provide support to developers who wish to integrate third-party tools in the Planets Framework. The guidelines explain the architecture, service interfaces, their role within Planets workflows and execution through workflow templates and the Workflow Execution Engine and the Digital Object Manager.
